Macquarie wharves

Case:
  Part of a long term program to recover long term durability of the Hobart Wharf facilities. Severe concrete failure requiring full recovery of strength and durability

Implementation:
  Removal of all degraded concrete and all rust on the embedded reo by very high pressure hydro demolition. Replacing compromised reinforcing, installing anode protection to the repair area and as protection to the adjacent area, rebuild with appropriate cement based mortars and apply long term protection coating to the affected areas and surrounds

Method:
 Hydro demolition, crack injection, box and pour, anode and silane protection.
